It's a story of music and salvation. Avril Lavigne wrote her experiences of fighting Lyme disease in her song "Head Above Water". When she was despaired, the love of music and family pull her through. And through music, Kaori hopes to reach the bottom of Arima’s problem and conquer it no matter what.

I got this idea a year ago.
In the mean time I polished my skills to be able to create this dream project.

My main goal was to make an accurate parody version of the original trailer as much as possible, incuding scene selection, edit, mood, vibe, story and even flow in most of the cases.
And also I tried to stay in the cinematic framework wherever I can.

Комментарий авторов: SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG FOR US TO FINISH UP THE VIDEO. We originally made this for AWA 2020, but there were a few parts we wanted to fix up. Then, once this semester started going, I didn't have much time to work on videos. ANYWAYS, we finally finished it up for Sakuracon this year, so here it is! It is another collab with Shin. As always, it was amazing to work with him ^.^ We wanted to showcase as many elements of the show as possible, so I hope we were able to do that justice!

My very first video fully done in After Effects, as well as my very first AKROSS entry - I participated in AKROSS 2019 with the video.
I created an alternate story from the anime, focusing on the title.

本以为会相当快的填完这个坑但结果仍是磨磨唧唧了很久。
在我补少女革命这部番之前，就觉得这首歌也许会很合适，所以在第一遍看的时候就开始收集了镜头。结果当最后一一剪出来之后又是长达一个多小时的镜头库……
集数少，镜头不够用。集数多，抉择镜头会让人思绪混乱与麻木。在三番五次修改脚本后本以为会是一个比较顺畅就能做出来的日烧，结果当真正开始放镜头的时候又是不得不多次修改脚本……
这次是一部比较偏执，比较任性的作品。与以往不同，这次我并没有倾重让没看过的人看懂，反倒是说这次我加入了许多可能只有自己能看得懂的个人“语法”。如果看过原作可能还好，没看过的话看的一脸懵也很正常。
对于一部五分钟的短片而言，想要讲述一个完整的故事在观众有基础上并不难，但由于本次更多的还是想尝试一下更有“读后感”的微魔改之路。所以对内容在平铺之外又多加了许多隐喻或者照应类镜头，从某种程度上来说，这部作品更像是我的一篇“长篇解析”。
