Author's comment:  I started this project randomly 3 months ago or more. just to try out new stuff and a different flow and genre than usual but after finishing half of the project I stopped it for a while but after online contest was announced I decided to just complete it to feel as if I accomplished something LOL. I kinda like how it turned out though because its different from what I usually edit. a nice change of pace. HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOY IT TOO! Also special hug to Azexous for making me a super adorable outro!

Конкурс был очень насыщенным и активным, столько участников и столько знакомых клипмейкеров, я думаю, не видел ни на каком Iron Chef, но, по сути это и дало многим участникам мотивацию. Столько классных и разнообразных работ, достойных работ, которые заслужили попасть в топ-10 - очень много. Что касается нашей команды, она была создано буквально за мгновение, начиная с вопроса "а ты будешь участвовать?" И планировалось, что я сделаю клип в жанре романтики, в котором, по моему мнению, я сделал бы куда лучше с таким количеством хороших песен, но по воле судьбы, пожалев нашего капитана команды Going Under Евгения, я выбрал психоделику. По конкурсу - желаю всем удачи. Кто возьмёт первые места - вы это заслужили. И, надеюсь, конкурсными работами вдохновилось много клипмейкеров.

Author's comment: Well, this video was something simple and fun that I wanted to make after watching Ben-To. I've seen Ben-To used in many other AMVs in the past but it always devolved into senseless fight scenes with no context. The story and personality of this show are it's biggest assets and were what kept me watching to the end. Sure the fighting is awesome, but knowing the ridiculous reason these fights are happening and what the characters motivations are is where the show really shines. So with this video I wanted to make something that would portray the show and story in the amusing way it is meant to be watched. The main goal of the editing was to create a story that paralleled the original show's plot and looked like one seamless fight. I also got a chance to try using some epic music. :P It was the first time I used orchestral music and it was fun to sync the big grandiose beats. Hopefully this video makes you smile and inspires you to go check out Ben-To since it is such a great show.
