AMVNews.ru announces the annual spring AMV competition - Big Contest 2026. We welcome creators from all over the world to join us with any kind of AMVs. Remember that contest entries should be exclusive, i.e the contest video can't be released online before the premiere at AMVNews. Participants can register via on-line form, registration is opened till the submission deadline for those who have the site account. Videos can be submitted from February 1st till April 15th, 2026. This year we have rule which allows to use any animation and send 2 individual videos.

Prize fund
1 place – 5000 roubles + statuette
2 place – 4000 roubles + statuette
3 place – 3000 roubles + statuette
4 place – 2000 roubles + statuette
5 place – 1000 roubles + statuette

We have the contest rules translated to several languages. We used last years' translations made by community volunteers with some minor changes so if you find any mistakes in any of the rules please let us know. Also, if you are a foreign creator and are willing to help us with more translations please write a PM to Turbo or okhostok.

The AMVNews: AI Summer 2025 voting has begun. Due to the small number of videos, all videos automatically proceed to the second round of voting.

16 contest participants and 4 members of specially selected jury are eligible for voting in the finals. Voting in second round is obligatory for contestants. If a contestant fails to vote in the category where his/her video is nominated, then the total amount of points that this video gets shall be decreased by a maximum number of points possible for this category. It can affect final rating substantially. You must fill in all slots when filling in the voting form. Voting deadline is November 27th, 15.00 Moscow time (UTC+3)

The AI Summer 2025 contest is a general-themed contest with no restrictions on the genre or subject, but in order to diversify and make the contest more interesting, we offer an additional experimental nomination - a video created using AI.

Each participant who wants to be nominated for the best use of AI must submit the making of or describe in detail the technologies used and the AI part in total must exceed more than 30% of the clip.

Let us remind you that only exclusive videos are eligible for this contest (i.e it's forbidden to release your video anywhere on the internet before it is shown at AI Summer 2025). Registration is opened till the submission deadline. You can register via on-line form; the account at AMVNews is required for registration. Entries accepted July 1st till October 1st, 2025. Prizes are reserved for winners.

Meanwhile, on the website CreaSpace.ru the video clip competition - "FreeCon" continues. Any amateur video clip made for films, games, sports recordings, home videos, personal 3D works, etc. can be submitted to the competition, provided it hasn't been previously shown online (the only restriction - anime). There are 10 days left until the deadline.
