Комментарий автора: "In the Year 2525" is one of my favourite 60s songs. It always gives me the beautiful retro sci-fi feeling. So one snowy day I decided an AMV of it would be in order. Now I know some people absolutely hate this song, but that hasn't stopped me before. ;) I had the song on one of my hit compilation albums, but sound quality on it wasn't the greatest. There was a lot of noise and at one point a noticeable drop in volume. So I did a little research online, decided to invest a few euros and ordered a CD which included a digitally remastered version of the song. The new version sounds much better than the version I had, although while editing I did notice a spot where digital cleanup had introduced a side effect. Fortunately it's barely audible. Multi-anime videos are always fun to make, since you don't have to keep looking at the same characters all the time. Frequently changing footage is also better able to keep the audience's attention. The only problem was that my hard disk space is somewhat limited. That and I needed to make low quality AVIs for editing. Slow-ass computer, you see. What I did to get around this dilemma was to watch through my DVD collection at 4x to 8x speed, take note of chapter numbers in PowerDVD and rip only the specific parts I thought I could use. Then I made the editing AVIs and deleted the VOBs temporarily. When the time of final export rolled around, I re-ripped the footage according to the notes I had made previously. In the midst of editing I heard about another method for the storage space challenged which is based on saving VirtualDub job queue files. I'll have to try that sometime. I built the whole video around the End of Evangelion segment. I honestly love how that turned out kind of creepy and comedic. I had to restrain myself to not go overboard with teh funnay, and I think I managed to find a good balance. Even though the song sounds very simple and monotonous, it was surprisingly hard to edit to. If you listen closely, you can hear all sorts of rhythm changes and added instruments in every strophe.

We are thinking about knowing the response to these questions and nevertheless we continue having strange nightmares, who want to say to us? Probably want to help us to confront our fears.
Maybe it's very philosophical, but that's part of the reason for the AMV, I like the sarcasm, and the psychological drama, and tried to do something in this video.
My debut in Akross Con 2010 could not be better, I feel motivated to continue improving and amusing myself.

AMV в жанре Romance нужно было сделать за 3 дня, но, к сожалению, из-за навалившихся проблем в итоге на создание клипа ушёл всего лишь один день... не будем вдаваться в подробности, что за проблемы, вам наверное это будет неинтересно, лучше смотрите клип ^^ Мы категорически не хотели делать стандартную романтику мальчик+девочка или же сюжетную линию "она его любит, он её нет, она пошла и бросилась под машину/утопилась/убилась", а решили вернуться к своей старой-доброй любимой юрийной тематике :3 Надеемся, что кому-то да понравится. 1280х720 - Да вы не ошиблись. Хоть релизов данного аниме в таком разрешении не существует, я все-таки решил попробовать улучшить качество и контраст и, как мне кажется, я получил продукт достойный высокого разрешения. Исходник - Как и все популярное (в принципе как и AMV) anime очень сильно опопсело за последние несколько лет. И «трушных», красивых работ с незабываемой анимацией и атмосферой с каждым годом выходит все меньше и меньше. Поэтому я и решил попытаться улучшить качество и сделать клип именно на Wolfs Rain. На аниме, являющемся для меня одним из лучших, стоявшем на ряду с RahXephon и Cowboy Bebop. Желаю всем приятного просмотра.

Комментарий автора: Don't expect too much of this video T_T I edited it quickly. I tried to do some weird stuff here. The most interesting here thing is using the short anime of Mathias Lachal, Chute (which means "Fall" in english).

Комментарий автора: So the idea for this video started with the song. When Vienna Teng's album was released, I knew immediately that I wanted to make a video using Antebellum with a war like anime for the source, I just didn't want to use the anime I already knew of for it, none of them seemed quite appropriate, so I put my idea on hold.
One day while over at Koop's place, some friends of mine had just bought the Valkyria Chronicles game, and while watching them play someone mentioned that an anime was being released with the same title and my interest was sparked. I had pretty much decided on the pairing before I watched the anime.
So yeah, I edited this video in under a week to make the AWA Pro 2010 deadline, there are a few things I'd have changed but I had a hell of a time rendering it out, and anything I'd have changed was minor enough that I really didn't want to go through the process of getting this video out of premiere again XD

To talk about my AMV : July 1999, a new "God" came down from the sky with his army called "Angels". In 2010, the new "God" plans to destroy the Earth about the end of December 2012. During this time, the Resistance created "Weapons" to destroy this "God". And then, the 20th of December 2012, they only have 24 hours to save the future.
