Realising Shura

Shura means from what I can tell 'endless battle' to put it simply. I found the concert fitting for my amv with the main characters struggle. I am referring to the Japanese word. I wish that after finding the song Shura ni Otoshite by sajou no hana from a Japanese music show that airs here J-Melo.

okay I made the credits for crea con back in 2021. this is not a repeat video, this is a premier but since the subtitles are made for that I could not change the size of the beginning credits. 5 seconds is way too short. really the credits were made because I had two videos (yes I use this song a lot) and transitions will make it confusing and I might screw it up so it is made for practical reasons. I am not trying to get a award for good credits I just hope you watch it past the credits. The only skill this reflects is that I am not the best at fixing subtitles.

this is basically about Ben, the main character learning the troubles of the world as the 'hero'. he finds out being an 'hero' requires a lot of sacrifice including the members of his family which get dragged into it. that is not to say that a specific member was ignorant to begin with. I have probably 3 pages of explanations on why it is what it is but before we even get into that this video is a combo of a video that was made back in 2018 and extra scenes that is a mix of stuff that was saved from the 'big wipe' and stuff I got this month.

I really was originally only going to edit the last verse until I saw how much of the first verse was mostly scenes from him getting the watch done artfully. anyhow any added episode 1 clips came from different sources the version I had when I made this back then is gone from what I can tell. I am proud of this I am aware of the flaws a lot of this was done when I only had a year of experience instead of my current 6 to 7 years. I was 16 at the time. (seems pretty close it is 5 in the morning so I am not checking)

I am cutting up a amv I did back in 2018 with an already existing soundtrack and sound effects in an editor and putting new scenes in between the existing scenes and retiming the clips that I put in the old version to try to keep the sound effects matching to an extent the video. Granted this is not just the music, all of the sound vocal tracks and folly from the tv show is also connected to the song track. this means that not everything will match even from the tv show because the tv show was edited since the save in which the track became permanent. If I had an extra two days I would remove the track from the ending which suffer is the worst because at that time (2018) I literally just stuck random clips towards the end that I loved but did not make the final cut in the middle, some of which I moved. but the contests have been getting stricter with following a specific time zone than they used to so I cannot I just stay up to 5 in the morning hoping for the best since my time zone is basically a day behind. of course all of this is mostly because the big con takes itself seriously so I know any edit will be looked at very closely everything but this one is done with quality just not perfection.
