The most popular competition at the Anime Messe Babelsberg is going into the next round and will be presented this year by AnimeRadio.de on Saturday evening 22 July 2023 on the big main stage.

Prize money totalling 600 euros awaits the winners.

Exclusive Contest:
1. Place = 200 Euro
2. Place = 150 Euro
3. Place = 100 Euro

Open Contest:
1. Place = 75 Euro
2. Place = 45 Euro
3. Place = 30 Euro

Participation in the competition is possible worldwide. A visit to the Anime Messe Babelsberg is not a condition. We grant all participants free entry to the Anime Messe Babelsberg on Saturday. Please send us an email if you would like to come in person.

The prize money will be transferred to the winners no later than 1 month after the Anime Messe Babelsberg 2023. Please note that we only offer PayPal, IBAN and SWIFT (fee required). If you cannot receive money this way, we can try to send you the prize money in the form of a non-cash prize.

Dear AMV Editors,

Thank you so much for your fantastic submissions to the AMV competition on the occasion of Anime Messe Babelsberg 2023. We received more entries than ever before, and it was a true delight to showcase these incredible videos on our main stage.

Now, for the grand announcement of the winners in the Exclusive Competition:

1st Place: Middle of the Night = 200 Euros
2nd Place: Bocchi the Virus = 150 Euros
3rd Place: Barnir = 100 Euros

This year, I've also taken the liberty to honour an additional video that particularly lifted my spirits. The Jury's Choice thus goes to the AMV "Window", which will receive an additional prize of 50 Euros.

In the open competition, we had numerous submissions, which we thoroughly enjoyed watching. Making it to the podium:

1st Place: This is Anime = 75 Euros
2nd Place: Waving Through = 45 Euros
3rd Place: Rider's Joy = 30 Euros

PS: This year, for the first time, we'll be hosting the Anime Festival Kassel, taking place from 27th to 29th October 2023. We would greatly appreciate exclusive AMV submissions for this festival. The deadline for submissions is 20th October 2023. As soon as the submission form goes live, we'll keep you posted.
