Комментарий автора: A metal-driven action video commemorating the fighting on the Eastern Front of WWII, also known as the Great Patriotic War...
70 years to the day I released this video, the German invasion of the USSR had begun, sparking the most devastating, cruel and desperate war in history, a tragedy on a scale not known before. The date has always been significant to me as a Russian whose course of life was directly shaped by that conflict, even if I was born many years after it. And I think all of us today still live in an age affected by this war, even if we don't know it.
So, anyway, I thought I should do something special to mark the date, and thus put together this quick video. I took First Squad and basically focused on the war elements of it, ignoring any of the supernatural stuff that (imo) made that film rather dumb in the first place. This was a stretch and I knew my choice of footage would be very, very limited - but I'm happy with how this turned out. I NEEDED to make a video for this anniversary with this kickass song (hopefully it's obvious why), even a simple and quick one.
The video took approximately 11 hours to complete.

Комментарий автора: Voici donc le théatre pour la JE ! Je vais être court et bref, je n'ai pas trop besoin de m'étaler la dessus. Tout d'abord je n'aurai jamais cru qu'il finirai 5ème loin de la, du coup ça ma un peux surpris. En bref j'en suis fière de ce clip. Peut être celui que j'ai le plus apprécié à monté. (HORS SD) pour la JE (Sauf la partie escalier qui voulait ma mort, akuzo tu comprendras). Même si le clip est quelque peut en bordel parfois, j'espère que j'aurai réussie à vous faire apprécié ce clip.

This was my entry for Japan Expo 2015. I got ranked the 6th. I think its not bad for a first time in this contest haha. I really enjoyed editing this project. even though I didnt have alot of time because of exams and university, I managed to make it somehow the way I expected it to be. Выдержка из комментария автора: I love Snow Patrol , I think it is really easy to edit with their songs so I guess that's why I finally could edit an amv!
While making this video I actually wanted to drop it a few times but then when I figured out how the ''story'' was going to be I got all exiced, and started editing non stop, till the point I couldnt even sleep because I was thinking about the amv! Sad times it was already the last day.. I kinda rushed the end and the beggining is awful, but oh well! The clock part was fun to edit at least!
I need to say special thanks to Shalyes and Helen because they really did help me out when I was struggling with some scenes, and also beta testing!

Комментарий автора: In a contest called "The Quickening", and we are basically given a song and have a week to edit the song. Luckily for me, symphonic metal is my favorite music genre so I ended up making something that wasn't completely terrible xD. Anyways, this video was basically made in two days because I was really into the song, and I have always wanted to edit with this anime because the animation is super cool so that was super fun.

This is my entry for a certain contest, and it was a painstaking experience editing all 7 minutes. The hardest bits are probably the basic scene cutting, selection, linking, all to sort out to fit it with the lyrics as a whole. The rest of the organizing and it's effort is self-explanatory. Хоть монтажом занимаюсь больше года, всё равно у меня ещё очень мало опыта, так как редко делаю клипы, вот и вышло криво.
