I told myself that I was going to steer away from the genre "psychotic." But I heard this song on the radio and I had to do another one. Actually, it's not so much a song as it is an anecdotal monologue paired with an electric guitar cacophony.
I shattered two personal records with this video; lip sync and most imported clips. It has over 1 min and 15 sec of lip sync. I also imported a total of 360 clips. I used less than half of them. It took a long time to find the scenes I wanted with a list that long.
I wanted to put in stuff from End of Evangelion and Akira but they were both permanently stuck in widescreen so I didn't. I thought it would look stupid if it kept switching from regular P and S to widescreen in the video.

This is my own interpretation of Robert W. Chambers short story collection "The King In Yellow" from 1895. It is heavily influenced by story and art of H.P. Lovecraft, the pen and paper Call of Cthulhu by Chaosium Inc and the Arkham Horror board and card game franchise by Fantasy Flight Games.
The original mythos goes as follows: There is a cursed theater play called "The King In Yellow". Everybody reading the play starts decending into madness. The reader gets visions of Hastur (The King In Yellow), the lake Hali and Carcosa (the damned city). The blessed reader also receives visions of The Yellow Sign. Those seeing it are chosen to preapre the kings decent onto our planet.
My video is based on those stories. It's a fanfiction. I'm well aware that this is extremly niche. However I hope that I can reach many fans of the original stories and I had a lot of fun creating this video and craming in as many references as possible. This is packed on with messages and easter eggs. I still believe this is an enjoyable horror video to people not knowing of the original mythos and maybe I can inspire some people to read the stories. I can especially recommend "The King In Yellow" by Robert W. Chambers and the Cthulhu Mythos by H.P. Lovecraft.
Technical note:
Most storytelling is done by mixing the main anime "Mahō Tsukai no Yome" with "Shoujo Kakumei Utena: Adolescence Mokushiroku". There are some support scenes from other anime as well. Additional material ranges from original 3D, original book cover art, fan art and supportive stock videos. Most scenes are done with compositions in After Affects. Adobe's brand new Photoshop neural filters, machine learning and AI effects played a huge role in pulling that video off.
This is a custom extended version of the song. It is lengthed with Adobe Premiere Pro Beta's latest remix tools in Essential Sounds. The crackling in the music is itential by the musical artist and is no encoding error.
This video placed 9th at TOS Contest 2021 storytelling and 6th at the creativity category. Which makes me quiet proud of it!

Here is what was supposed to be my little summer edit but which ended up being the a little bit more ambitious than planned (and which is not released during the summer anymore). There are a lot of things I wanted to try and I integrated all my universe, all the references to the things that i love, which makes it the most personal clip you'll see from me so far and despite an editing that has some flaws, I'm still super proud of what I produced here and I hope you'll be able to enjoy it as much as I did making it !

Author's Comment: NDK Action Finalist
Since my official entry for NDK just depressed me out like f..k, I decided at last minute to try something more fun, something that I knew I would enjoy even when it was torturing to edit, and thus this came to fruition. This video took longer than I estimated to make, but this is my first video with one of the animes I deeply adore so I guess it's a win/win situation.
Dedicated to Maya for getting me into sports animes in the first place.

Всем Здравия Желаю) Впервые пилил я эту работу для Онлайн Контеста, но не успел из-за того что пришлось дорабатывать всякие мелочи и по итогу как видите проябал все сроки конкурса :(
И меня немного напрягало то что конкурс проводился под Новый Год т.к. сами понимаете вся эта суета предпраздничная потом надо ещё от бухачек отходить. (Шучу я не пью и вам не советую, на йух эту срань) А далее ты на след. день просыпаешься в собственной блевотине и видишь что уже французы сидят в дискорде едят лягушек и выдают места
ребятам. А ты бибу сосёшь потому что ты лошара лоускилльная которая нихрена нигде никогда и ничего не успевает плак-плак...
Такие вот пироги к сожалению :(
Может быть в другой раз повезёт, на другом конкурсе, не знаю :)))

As a big Stargate fan I always loved to watch any kind of well composed space battles.
Space Battleship Yamato is my anime Stargate in a quite a few aspects.
So, there was no question that someday, I wanna make a video with epic space battle scenes.
Then last year I caught this long knowned song and started a project with it.
The project itself has more then a dozen effects on each scene, but I blended them in as much as I was able to do so - in kind of film industry style.
I was suprised with my 1st place in AniNite.
Looks like they liked my approach method in perspective of effects.
